Witch Legend Zsuzsanna Budapest‎ Blesses Marie Bargas’ Ascendance After NAPPN Debut

By Tony Sokol

The Managing Editor of Entertainment 2morrow caught the eye of her mentor, the founder of the Dianic Tradition, ‎Zsuzsanna Budapest, during her premiere broadcast on North American Psychic and Paranormal Network (NAPPN).

“Hello Marie! Congratulations on your ascendance! Blessed be” the iconic Hungarian-born modern witch, who currently presides over the Women’s Spirituality Forum, wrote to Bargas’ Facebook page the morning after the live broadcast.

Bargas, who predicted on Nov 11, 2016 that Moonlight would win the best picture Oscar on NBC’s Extra! in a segment called “Hollywood Tomorrow,” booked a two hour slot for the pioneering paranormal internet TV streamer to do light readings about love and romance. Her low-key introduction to NAPPN’s audience and broadcast talent quickly turned into a baptism of fiery initiation. Bargas’s ad hoc programming mastery didn’t begin with the flames of her candles. They started with the sad, uncertain rustling of her crimson curtain.

While doing a reading on her personal Igor, Editor-in-Chief here at Entertainment 2morrow, Tony Sokol, for this writer’s birthday, the audience, who can comment live on chat, saw Bargas’ backdrop move. The movements escalated further after NAPPN Founder and Owner Chickie Haute aimed her spirit gun at the broadcast and began getting audio readings. Some people in the chat believed they were hearing the growls of demons and immediately called out for its banishment.

While the chief editor was all in favor or letting the demon speak his piece, cooler headed Bargas threw down immediately with a votive candle and Latin prayers of exorcism. The effect was immediate. The room was filled with blue globe- and diamond-shaped orbs. The show was deemed a hit.

Upon posting a screen shot of the orb activity to Facebook, Bargas was contacted by Budapest‎, her mentor and former client.

“I have been a huge fan of Z Budapest since I first read her book, The Holy Book of Women’s Mysteries. The years I spent as her PR were very educational to say the least. As a living legend she of all people taught me how to maneuver in the public eye despite criticism. And more than that, she has always believed in and nurtured my own psychic abilities. At a crossroads in my career, her courage and talent encouraged me to evolve as a celebrity psychic in my own right. She walks the walk. She empowers women to be their best.”

Zsuzsanna Budapest wrote several books on feminist spirituality. She founded the Susan B. Anthony Coven Number l in 1971. It is better knowbn as Dianic Wicca. Born Zsuzsanna Emese Mokcsay on Jan. 30, 1940, Budapest’s mother worked as a sculptress, and was a medium and practicing witch who may have been magically formed through virgin birth. Budepest can trace her family’s magical tradition back to the year 1270.

Fleeing Russian occupation after the 1956 Hungarian Revolution, the socially conscious sorceress became a political refugee. She finished her studies in Austria, ultimately studying language at the University of Vienna before coming to the United States in 1959. One of the original heroines of the burgeoning women’s liberation movement, she worked out of the Los Angeles Women’s Center while forming the Susan B. Anthony Coven Number l in Venice, California in 1971.

The Feminist Book of Lights and Shadows was first published in 1975. It was re-published in 1989 as The Holy Book of Women’s Mysteries. She went on to publish nine more books, one play and two CDs. Currently starring on her cable TV show 13th Heaven, she recently produced a series of animated short films of political satire  with animator Jakki Moore called Baba Boogie and the Berkeley Broads Website.

NAPPN has been broadcasting live psychic and paranormal presentations with an interactive chat room audience since 2009. NAPPN i-TV has been the launching pad for many well-known paranormal groups and psychics.

Bargas also hosts the weekly radio program Magick Lab Academy on SOC Radio on Wednesdays. The Los Angeles based psychic adviser, writer and creative producer majored in film studies at Scripps College. She began her media career as a “Vampire Expert” on Entertainment Tonight. She transformed into the Hollywood Witch 2012 – 2013 when her life was optioned for a reality TV show about real witches. The Retrograde Renegade made appearances on the Fine Living Network, the Love and Sex Report with Millionaire Matchmaker – Patti Stanger and was a contributing writer to LA Story.
